1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Start Dost ("Platform"), operated by webcotec ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Start Dost is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that provides AI-powered business management tools including CRM, social media management, HRM, email marketing, form builder, SEO tools, and e-commerce integration for small and medium businesses in India.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Subscription & Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed in Indian Rupees (₹) through Razorpay. All prices are exclusive of GST (18%) unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if the service has not been substantially used. Refund requests can be sent to info@startdost.space.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Platform for spam, phishing, or unsolicited messaging; violate any applicable Indian law including the IT Act, 2000; upload malicious code or attempt to breach security; resell access without written permission; use the AI features to generate harmful, illegal, or misleading content; exceed your plan's usage limits through automated means.
6. Data & Privacy
Your data belongs to you. We act as a data processor on your behalf. We do not sell your data to third parties. We use industry-standard security measures. For details, see our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining consent from your own customers before storing their data on our Platform.
7. AI-Generated Content
The AI features use third-party models (Anthropic Claude). AI-generated responses are provided "as is" and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before sending to your customers. We are not liable for any consequences of AI-generated content.
8. Service Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by hosting providers, third-party APIs, or force majeure events.
9. Intellectual Property
The Platform, its design, code, and features are owned by webcotec. Your business data, content, and customer information remain your property. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity.
11. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted. You can request a data export before deletion.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms with 15 days notice via email or dashboard announcement. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
